The program begins at 12 Noon US EDT; 19:00 PM Palestine; 18:00 Europe.
We will briefly review the content and organization of the exhibit focusing on a number of key presentations.
We will demonstrate the animated Nakba map (in video format) showing the depopulation timeline of 437 villages - this is the most chilling presentation of the Nakba, showing the scale, pre-meditation of the crimes against Palestinians and the name of each town and village that was attacked and taken-down by Zionist forces.
We will also screen videos of destroyed villages recreated from archival photos: Zir’in, Hitteen and Tantura.
We will briefly scan the exhibit, just-published, hard-cover book and stop by the work of each artist and architect participating in the exhibit.
Finally we will play a segment from the opening ceremony concert (the song Falasteen composed by the late Mohamed Abdul Wahab) performed by Palestinian musician Ronnie Malley on the Oud.
Q&A discussion will follow, time permitting.
